Notice of Annual Meeting and Board Elections

The PTO will hold its annual meeting on Monday, October 5 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held via Zoom. The proposed agenda can be found here. 

PTO will also be holding elections for PTO Board and, following installation of the new board, officer elections. There are board vacancies, and each position serves for a single two-year term (no member can serve more than three consecutive 2-year terms). Anyone interested in becoming a board member should complete the self-nomination form and e-mail it to the PTO secretary. In the alternative, you may self-nominate at the annual meeting.

Additions to the agenda must be submitted to the PTO secretary no later than Monday, October 5 at 12 p.m.

At this meeting PTO will be holding elections to fill 5 vacancies on the PTO Board. Anybody interested in serving on the board can complete a self-nomination form (also available in the office). Forms must be submitted to the PTO (you can give them to Annie or Hope in the office) by Monday, October 7 by 3 p.m.

At this meeting we will be discussing and reviewing proposed changes to the Aquarian PTO by-laws. The proposed amendment will permit the PTO to run charitable gaming activities, such as raffles and auctions, pursuant to Alaska State law. The proposed amendment can be viewed here.
